Securing Interbase gbak
Using the Interbase gbak utility in commandfiles for batch processing requires to include the username and password in clear text in the commandfile. To eliminate the security risks the program securegbak.exe enables the possibility to execute gbak without the need to specify clear text username and password in the commandfile. Securegbak.exe uses a binairy configurationfile with encrypted username and password.Read the documentation for more details
